    Combat arms closes by itself

    I DO NOT HAVE ANY HAX/MOD OR ANY ILLEGAL ON 

    After the patch, whenever i join a game, it is good for few minutes, and then suddenly my combat arms stops and a mouse cursor appears in the middle of the screen, then it closes and returns to the desktop

    Same here. I get to the point while it is loading and the soldier is banging his head against the lower-right corner of the screen then - Bam! I get the ads that display after quitting the game.

    Doing the same thing to me... You know nexon it would be nice if you could have a GM respond to us to give us help instead of waiting months just to fix that

    SAME THING IS HAPPENING TO ME EVERY GAME! IS WAS ALL OK LAST NIGHT BUT 2DAY I CAN EVEN PLAY A GAME WITHOUT CA CRASHING!! NEXON HELP US PLEASE!!!

    that has happened to me too. try launching from CA_Direct. go to your computer menu, find the nexon folder, open it. open the Combat Arms folder and double click it.if tat doesnt work, try uninstalling then reinstalling

    I have the Same Exact Fkin Problem I believe this is something to do with Nexons newest patch it worked fine before the patch now bam it crashes everygame sometimes I might go 1-2 fireteams without a crash, but then bam crash - It crashes to Ad popups from CA, I'm running Win 7 32 Bit Professional Edition. Nexon no body is gonna pay your greedy company a single dime until this issue has been resolved there is other sites with complaints in the 100s describing the same exact problem - Fix it or we are just gonna quit see how you like it when your sitting in the Bean Line! I gave you my tip on how to fix it remove this 5 slot RedFlag and holloween RedFlag and it might start working again...you ever made this patch Fked up BIG TIME! It's completely nexons fault my PC is 4x the specs to run this game I have upgraded internet service your crappy game lags on every match, bullet lag, fps lag you name it your companies shotty crapservers are too blame take the money your getting robbing us desperate hardcore gamers and fix your damn servers with all due respect!

    Hopefully these red flags will least get the moderators attention, please forward this to the GM so they can work to finding a solution...I'm not trying to flame or show disrepect but I'm angry I want to play this game but it keeps crashing reinstall doesn't help - I would like this to be resolved. Or I'm just gonna go play some other game and give them all my hardearned money...

    I really hope they do something about this because I have spend over 48 hours now trying to fix this problem reinstalled and unistalled visited almost every possible forum and none of it worked. The new patch had something in it that screwed us all over. For the amount of people who spend money on your games you would think you'd be able to release a patch that didnt screw with everyones system. Very disappointed. Have invested lots of time and money into this game and now cannot play. If I'm lucky I can load and get into a match, but have yet to even finish one without the game crashing.

    Mine gets to the login screen, but as soon as I click start the games closes and the ad's appear....

    Actually for me, my game starts up successfully but when I get to the screen where it shows the differant merc constumes (Raven etc) that's when my game closes on its own.

    Exactly after the loading screen, the game crashes and a window pops up and says there is a scr1pt error.

    Same thing happens to me and it is on three different computers where I cannot get past the now loading screen without it crashing to the end banner.

    same here i started combat arms then after soldier leaves it goes to the page which shows the background and then BAM! it stops and goes to desktop! plz help because i re installed it during the whole night and it didnt work! COMBAT ARMS NEXON U BETTER TELL ME WHAT TO DO BECAUSE IF YOU DONT THEN SCREW U!

     I have the same exact problem. You know, I downloaded the game on like Sunday. Spent Mon, Tues, and Wed trying to fix it this dam thing, and on Wed. at like 10:45 I was able to make it work. I log back in today, wait until after the update, AND I HAVE THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM AGAIN!

     

    Except this time, The thing i did last time didn't work.  Last time I was able to use this:

    Try shutting off your Anti-Virus and Firewall next time. There may be settings that have to be adjusted within those programs to allow it to run properly, this will help identify if that is the case.



    Try doing a Winsock reset:


    For Windows XP

    * Press "Windows Key"+R
    o The Run box should now appear
    * Type "cmd.exe" in the box and click "OK"
    o The command prompt window should now appear
    * Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press "Enter" on your keyboard
    * Then type "netsh winsock reset" and press "Enter" on your keyboard
    * Reboot your PC.

    For Vista/7

    * In the start menu search bar, type "cmd"
    o "cmd.exe" should be one of the first things on the list
    * Right Click "cmd.exe" and select "Run as administrator"
    o The command prompt window should now appear
    * Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press "Enter" on your keyboard
    * Then type "netsh winsock reset" and press "Enter" on your keyboard
    * Reboot your PC.



    And if that doesn't work:



    Try shutting off your internet modem / router for 5 minutes to flush the cache.





    If all of the above doesn't work, please post:

    What Internet Service do you have?

    What modem/router?

    Are you playing Wirelessly?

    Where are you generally located?

    Have you been able to play without issues before?

    If so, when did this start happening?

     

    If that helps anyone, awesome. But I have tried it this time and for some reason it wont fix the problem again. Can Someone from Nexon Actually Read the Forums and HELP with the problems? I sent in a ticket on SUNDAY. about this problem, and they have YET to answer.

    OMG same here! Nexon added some RedFlag on and now my game crashes after 2 mins. I get into a game and start playing then BOOM black screen and then the desktop with ads. NEXON ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM PLEASE

    IKR!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DONT EVEN GET TO MAKE IT AS FAR AS U GUYS.! I LOG IN I SEE THE LITTLE GUY RUNNING THEN WHEN I CLICK A FKING SERVER TO CONNECT TO IT DOESNT DO ANYTHING. I JUST SEE "CONNECTING" FOR LIKE 10 MINUTES THEN I FORCE CLOSES I ONLY HAD THIS PROBLEM AFTER THE NEW DAM UPDATE. COME ON NEXON I WANNA BUY PERM STUFF B4 ITS TOO LATE!!!!!!

    VIRUS ALERT!  Virus found Win32/Heur in \Nexon\Combat Arms\HShield\EHSvc.dll

    I have not played the CA for awhile. When I ran CA on 11/10/11, the update was patched. Then, BUMP, my AVG 2012 anti-virus software detected there is a Win32/Heur virus in that EHSvc.dll file. Now, I can not open the game. It happened to my other laptop, too.

    It might happen because your anti-virus software had been updated. When you playing, it find out there is a virus in Combat Arms, so the game stops. Solution: you can try to deactivate or stop the anti-virus software when playing.

    You can also try to scan the whole computer completely, Or remove the CA and re-install it as your computer will see the virus in the new patch.

     ALERT to Nexon.

    I have re downloaded the game like 4 times, and  I seem to now be getting en error from windows firewall (when Mcafee is turned off) saying Combat Arms is blocked. I click the unblock button, but it gives me the same error when i start the game up again. Turning off both firewalls just makes the game crash like everyone else.

    Same here... I spent hours just trying to get into lobby..but it always just crashes on me when I log in.

    Yeah the same here. I get to the Laoding screen, then after that the background picture of the Nexon Combat girls and then nothing. What the Hell nis the any response from NEXON??? I haven't gotten any!

    Well, knowing that the fastest response to a support ticket I have ever gotten took 21 days, I dont think we cant find out about this until like next month....

    mine does the same but scr1pt error doesnt always appear but the game always crashes its bs to spend all this money and now i cant play filed many tickets to support and all i get is a dam computer generated message talk about bs thanks nexon for the support

    If you just go into the Combat Arms Folder (C:Nexon/CombatArms) you will find the EndingBanner. If you delete it, then you wont get a scr1pt error, but it still does not fix the crashing problem.

    yea this RedFlag is tireing its been doing it ever sence they did the last update its bs i have gear they better do something about this i buy alot of nx im very disapointed
